We had a fundraiser last year and were pretty excited by the amount we raised . But the amount paled in comparison to what Sushmita Sen got for one of her paintings at a recent charity event in Dubai. A whopping $50,000. Not bad for your first auction.

Who knew that the former Miss Universe had hidden talents?

The painting was auctioned at a charity event in Dubai. All the proceeds from the event went to the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Lahore(started by former Pakistani cricket player Imran Khan).
